Cooling system repairs and Brake Fluid Flushes are services we offer as well to ensure that everything in your car is properly lubricated and runs smoothly.

We ask our customers to “surrender to the process.” Here’s why; quality mechanical work is a
process that can be short, long, or longer than anyone (including us) wants. We are not in the
business of over-promising when we simply don’t know how involved a repair will be. Our job is
to always be thinking a few steps ahead – navigating both the predictable and unpredictable
– giving you the full picture, realistic costs and a sense of timing every step of the way.
We also appreciate it when our customers understand that as we begin repairs, certain issues
may change our course of action and timeline. Because we have a “no surprises” approach to
service, we’ll keep you updated if anything seems different than what was estimated. We are
always here to help arrange other transportation.

Annual Oil Services:
Road test vehicle. Check all underhood fluid levels (correct as necessary). Check for leaks. Measure/record brake pad thickness. Measure/record tire tread depth. Set/record tire pressure(s). Reset TPM. Check windshield cleaning system. Function check exterior illumination. Change engine oil and filter. Reset service reminder. Services vary based on time/mileage and may require additional supplemental services.
Brakes:
Replace front brake pads and rotors. Clean/lubricate sliding points/caliper hangers. Check condition of brake hoses, measure brake fluid moisture content. Reset wear indicator if applicable.
Brake Fluid Service/Flush
Flush fill and bleed brake fluid in brake system.
“Check Engine” or S.E.S. Light illuminated:
Perform Quick Scan check, interpret results of scan, research, test/ process the fault codes, and confirm the vehicle problem, followed by a repair recommendation. Additional troubleshooting/diagnosing time may become necessary depending on complexity and/or number and types of faults found.
Cooling System “Check”:
Cooling system evaluation/pressure check. Pressure check cooling system for leaks. Evaluate current condition/function of the cooling system. Check the engine control unit for faults. Visually evaluate the condition of cooling system components. Pressure check cooling system. Check electric fan operation. Run a system short test for faults/evaluate results and provide a repair recommendation.
Cooling System “Service”
Perform cooling system flush/pressure check and install new pressure cap.
Visually evaluate the condition of cooling system components. Check electric fan operation. Run system short test for faults/evaluate results.
Vehicle Check / State of Health:
Road test vehicle. Check steering, Braking, Suspension, kick down and Transmission behavior. Check for correct routing of brake lines / hoses. Function check interior electronics/windows. Function check interior/exterior lighting/horns. Check all under hood fluid levels / correct and check for leaks as necessary. Visually check steering and suspension components for wear / damage. Check chassis and load bearing components for wear. Check the drive belt condition. Check C.V. joints/boots for leakage/tears. Check windshield cleaning system. Load test battery. Check/correct tire pressures (including spare if equipped). Scan control units for faults. Recommend any regular or supplemental service.
Porsche Basic Services Text:
Check/correct all underhood fluid levels. Check the condition of coolant hoses and accessory drive belts. Inspect major underhood components for leakage/wear/damage. Visually inspect the driveshaft and drive axles for wear/damage. Visually inspect brake lines/hoses for damage and correct routing. Check exterior illumination and headlight adjustment. Check body drains for debris. Function check fanfare horns. Inspect air intakes and radiators for blockage/debris. Check the condition of tires. Measure and record tread depth. Measure/record outboard brake pad thickness. Function check windshield cleaning system. Check the condition of the battery. Change engine oil and filter. Change cabin and air filters. Read out fault memory and reset service reminders. Services vary based on time/mileage and may require additional supplemental services.
Mercedes A / B Services:
Road test vehicle. Check steering, braking, suspension, and transmission kick down. Function check interior electronics/windows. Function check interior/exterior lighting/horns. Check all under hood fluid levels/correct and check for leaks as necessary. Visually check steering and suspension components. Check chassis and load bearing body components. Check the drive belt condition. Check c.v. joints/driveshaft/flexible joints. Check windshield cleaning system. Load test battery. Measure/record tire tread depth. Check/correct tire pressures (including spare if equipped). Measure/record brake pad thickness/function check parking brake. Reset maintenance indicator. Change engine oil and filter.
